Today, 19th November is the last of the 6th TERMIS World Congress.
TERMIS is the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society that unifies researchers and scientists all over the world working in the field of regenerative medicine.
TERMIS mission is:
“ADVANCING TISSUE ENGINEERING & REGENERATIVE MEDICINE WORLDWIDE TO GENERATE KNOWLEDGE WITH A VIEW TO IMPROVING PATIENT OUTCOMES GLOBALLY”
WIthin TERMIS, a thematic group about Regenerative Rehabilitation was recently created, comprising members of the International Consortium of Regenerative Rehabilitation. Fondazione Don Gnocchi is part of this thematic group with Dr. Marzia Bedoni (LABION) being one of the representatives of the European members.
During TERMIS2021, LABION participated with a presentation by Dr. Alice Gualerzi about the recent results obtained at Fondazione Don Gnocchi about the predictive biomarkers of rehabilitation recovery after stroke and promising markers for the monitoring of regenerative therapy efficiency.
