Labion is pleased to promote the new website of the SKIN IMAGING SOCIETY – Society for Cutaneous Ultrastructure Research (https://www.scur.org/) totally renewed in its layout and content.

Dr. Marzia Bedoni is member of the SCUR scientific board since 2012 because of her longstanding work on skin as pivotal barrier against chemical and physical hazards.

Labion work on nanoparticle toxicity, Raman analysis of skin cancer tissues and microneedles as transdermal drug delivery system were presented during recent SCUR annual meetings in Lyon (2016) and Salzburg (2013).

The aims of the society are the promotion of research in electron microscopy and all other combined skin visualization techniques applied to cutaneous biology and pathology and advance the understanding of human skin ultrastructure in health and disease.
